GameTools title screen.rgb

Jump to: navigation, search

The file 'title_screen.rgb' (in the 'images' directory) is loaded by the game as the startup screen and overlaid by the menu items and level list. This file has to be a 'power of two' texture map because it's loaded as an OpenGL texture - but it's going to be stretched to fit the screen - so you may want to paint the image as a high resolution 4:3 width-to-height ratio image - then squash it to (say) a 512x512 image afterwards.

Painted as a 4:3 (800x600) image
Squashed into a 1:1 (512x512) image
